A stone ring laser light passes through into the mirror (see Into the mirror). On its own it does nothing. With lit light going through it along its axis, a small tear opens in its middle and the lens lights up. Everyone can see the tear, from either side of the mirror.
Placed against a hall's glass it faces into the glass, ready to seat on it; anywhere else it faces the way you do, unless that would point it into the block you placed it against. Use any wrench on it to turn it to the next axis.
tested It holds on to what's beside it. A strut grows from the lens to any solid face next to it in its own plane, so it stands on a floor, hangs from a ceiling or sits on a wall. Lenses turned the same way hold on to each other too, so they stack.
Seated. Right against a hall's glass, the lens seats onto it with a short barrel and a studded collar. It's only a look: a lens anywhere on the line works the same.
